Immense tranquility and the beauty of a preserved nature
L’Hameau de Vacances les Bernardies is an old French hamlet ideally situated around a 17th century manor house on a hill. You can enjoy an immense tranquillity, the beauty of a preserved nature and the splendid views of the surrounding countryside. During the school vacations Les Bernardies is a family place, while in low season it is very quiet and peaceful. We welcome you to Les Bernardies which has been our home for almost 15 years and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.
Our hamlet has 8 gîtes and 1 chambre d’hôte, all furnished in a pleasant atmosphere with large terraces and privacy. We have a beautiful heated swimming pool (15mx6m) with a pool house. There is also our courtyard open to our guests with a workshop, a sauna *, a bread oven (reception, library) and Wifi. For our younger guests there is a playground, a petanque court, a ping-pong table and many farm animals (donkeys, goats, guinea pigs, chickens, etc.). Les Bernardies has an enclosed private parking lot.

Around Les Bernardies, you will find many gastronomic restaurants, many castles and caves, beautiful gardens and famous cities like Sarlat-la-Canéda at 13km, Domme, La Roque Gageac, Castelnaud la Chapelle, Eyrignac, Montignac with the caves of Lascaux …
Around Les Bernardies, you will be able to practice many sports such as golf, canoeing, horse riding, mountain biking, and for the ultimate experience : fly over the Dordogne and its castles in a hot air balloon.
During the school vacations we have several activities for children such as our art workshop course, baking your own pizza, archery and petanque, walking with the donkeys and cuddling our goats and guinea pigs. Les Bernardies is a real paradise for our young visitors!
You will have access to all the facilities of the Bernardies: heated swimming pool and pool house, courtyard, sauna, workshop, bread oven / library, playground, petanque court, and parking. Wifi is available free of charge in public areas.
Les Bernardies has 8 different historical gîtes and a separate Chambre d'hôte, each with its own facilities, décor and layout. Don't hesitate to ask us which gîte will suit you best.
At Les Bernardies and outside. During the summer vacations: the weekly art course, the pizza course, the Tai Chi course, the donkey ride, etc. In the surroundings there are canoeing, climbing parks, water park, small zoos, bird shows, mountain biking, etc.

Au cœur de la campagne périgourdine, magnifique lieu. Les propriétaires adorables, les maisons magnifiques. Les animaux sur place, parfait pour une semaine en famille en osmose avec la nature : bien mieux que les Center Parc surfaits…!
Le service pains et viennoiseries livrait tous les matins par l’hôte. La très belle chambre cosy et confortable. Les équipements de la cuisine sont pratiques et complets. Le cadre était super et reposant avec les animaux.
Un endroit unique, calme avec des paysages superbes. Tellement reposant et dépaysant ! Le gîte est typique, bien équipé et très joliment décoré. Encore un grand merci à Chantal pour son accueil chaleureux. Nous retournerons aux Bernardies sans hésitation!

Vigor is nu ook op zijn gemak bij zijn huisgenoot Bouba. En ook van de Pauw schrikt hij niet meer. Prachtige plaatjes.
